Researching about my audience and having neighbours who are similar ages has helped me to work out how I could create the Fern Cycle so that they would understand all the difficult words as I have trouble also. The actual cycle is pretty much the same but I've tried to explain the big scientific words as simple and clear as possible.
I used this original Fern Diagram as a guide. The sketch is only a outline of what to include and I started writing bits down using smaller words which still get the scientific meaning across. Like the diagram below I wanna use a colour system to explain the different cells (Haploid and Diploid) and from research younger ages find colours helpful.
